A NICE DOOR PLATE

In a street on a door. One of the little raisons why I love Paris. I call them les petits tresors de Paris.

JARDIN DES TUILLERIES

Here is the Jardin des Tuilleries. Located in between the Champs Elysees - the Concorde and Le Louvres, this garden is a very popular place to rest after a long walk on the Champs Elysees or a tour in the museum. I would recommend sitting on a chair close to the big fountain. If you have children they would love to sail a rent a boat in the fountain. I hope for you the boat want get stuck in the middle, if it does Daddy would have to go and get it back

LA PYRAMIDE DU LOUVRE

La Pyramide du Louvre is to my point of view a good example of harmony between contemporary architecture in an old building location. The American Chinese architect, Ieoh Ming Pei did great work as now most of the French people like this piece of modernity in the middle of what was the French kings palace.

LA DEFENSE - A FAST GROWING BUSINESS AREA
We all expect Paris to be with old buildings that we are always surprised to discover the La Defense business center. There, towers are growing fast and the best architects of the World are competing hard to build the most brilliant skycrappers. My favourite is the EDF tower. (for pictures : ). The Arche de la Dfense faces the Arc de Triomphe.

GALERIE LAFAYETTE ROOF VIEW

The last floor of the biggest French department store in Hausmann welcome a very nice cafeteria where anyone can rest with a plate of basic French food (dont expect *** Michelin cooking) but the most amazing is the terrace where you would take your best pictures of Paris roofs and Montmartre. Dont expect this from your hotel room if you stay in petit hotel.

SACRE COEUR MONTMARTRE

The Sacr Coeur of Montmartre is one of the most visited places. It deserves it. However I would strongly recommend you to visit Montmartre from 5 to 7 AM when all the other tourists are sleeping and when Paris is waking up on a clear morning of May or June. You will remember this time all your life

PARIS SUN SET FROM PONT NEUF

To me this is the very Parisian life. A nice sun set view over the Seine and the Eiffel Tower. If you have a chance to come here, you will just love it! Dont miss it!

CUSTOMIZED SCOOTER IN ST GERMAIN

The owner of this scooter must love fast and furious. French these days love scooters. They cannot park easily and they all hate being stuck in Paris traffic jams. The number of scooters has dramatically increased over the last 5 years.

BICYCLE

Parisian dont really like bicycles as it is surrounded by crazy drivers but when they like it happen they customize it in a very urgence style.

ALEXANDER III BRIDGER

The golden pegasus from Alexander III bridge, one of the most flamboyant bridges over the Seine River. The perspective when standing in the middle is amazing the Champs Elyses on one side, the Invalides dome is shining on the other side.

EIFFEL TOWER

The first picture of my Parisian Blog goes to the "old iron Lady", the Eiffel Tower. Most probably the best recognition sign for Paris.
